Understanding Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ) TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder)is an inflammatory disorder of the temporomandibular joint consistent with any one of a number of different forms of arthritis contributing to joint pain and breakdown. To aid in your diagnosis and help expedite treatment decisions at the time of your first appointment, we request that you bring the following:

• Blood Tests from the Last Two to Three Years

• Previous Dental X-Rays

• Any Other Imaging Studies

• Doctors' Reports
